1. The Korean government welcomes the agreement on a two-month truce in Yemen reached on the back of the mediation by the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen and the efforts of the countries concerned, including Saudi Arabia and Oman, and hopes that all parties will faithfully implement the agreement, leading to a permanent peace in Yemen.

2. The Korean government reaffirms its position that it supports the efforts of the international community, including the United Nations, to establish peace and stability in Yemen and will provide 20 million U.S. dollars in humanitarian assistance this year in response to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
